A goal that demands evidence at every step.
There is no guaranteed timeline to a cure. We envision a path built on clear questions, careful studies, and transparent decisions.
01 / Build the foundation
Establish governance, scientific advice, a responsible funding model, and priorities informed by affected people. This is the stage cureKI is preparing for.
02 / Understand and evaluate
Develop a research agenda and evaluate potential approaches through appropriate laboratory and preclinical work. Some ideas may not work; sharing what is learned is part of progress.
03 / Translate responsibly
Only approaches supported by sufficient evidence should move toward clinical evaluation, with independent review and required approvals. Clinical benefit cannot be assumed from laboratory findings.
04 / Measure what matters
Safety, meaningful function, participation, and quality of life should guide the definition of progress. Better treatments matter even while the ultimate goal remains a cure.
